Coaches

Tri-Valley Little League is a non-profit and volunteer led organization. All board members, coaches, umpires, team parents, etc are volunteers. Volunteers must be in good standing with the league, follow league rules and complete the required background check. The Board is responsible for screening and approving volunteers. Little League requires coaches meetings and outlines requirements for volunteer application and approval.

Tri-Valley Little League will hold a mandatory coaches meeting on February 24th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center, Yucca Room.   Pizza will be served. Please RSVP by emailing [email protected]. Jennifer Cusack, League President is responsible for nominating managers, coaches and volunteers for board consideration and approval.

Who should attend?

Managers, coaches and team parents who wish to be involved in the team staff.

What is the difference between managers and coaches?

Team managers l serve as the primary contact for their respective teams. Managers are selected first and they will be responsible for selecting and getting all team volunteers cleared through the league to help support the team. All managers/coaches/team parents are finalized after the teams are drafted.

What is the purpose of the meeting?

The mandatory coaches meeting is required by Little League rules and will be for the purpose of reviewing rules, the safety plan, going over the skills assessment process and getting to know one another.

What if I cannot make it?

If you cannot make the meeting you will be required to get approval from the League President to schedule a time to go over the same material.
